One of my favorite things to do is go through Livy's school folder when she gets home.
She always draws pictures on the back of her work.
The pictures are often of me with the words "I love mom". Those are my favorite.
She also draws a lot of princesses and dogs. We get the occasional Christmas tree or other seasonal items as well.
That's why when I pulled out this picture yesterday I was baffled.
I tried to figure it out for a second, but I wasn't seeing it. So I asked and Livy told me very matter-of-factly what it was.
What do you think it is?

oh this is fun...I was thinking the same as you I have no clue, but my guess would be a turkey...but then I thought maybe my kids would be better at this so I asked them...my 6 year old said it was a fire hydrant and my four year old said it was a turtle.
Lea
Alright, I think it is some kind of bird or goose who is about to eat a ladybug (or other kind of beetle or bug) off of a waffle/piece of toast/corn on the cob....? How's that?1
A turtle on top of a piece of corn or bale of hay???
Duh - it's totally a banana split with a scoop of pistachio ice cream on the side.
My first impression was a mailbox with a snake sticking it's tongue through it. I'm intrigued to know what it really is though.
It's totally a giant bird with its beak stuck through the top of the barn, and it has an olive stuck on the end of it. Duh people!
To me it looks like an old fashioned bottle of perfume. I am probably way off because I don't think a 6 year old would even know about such a thing.
Um... the thing on the left looks like a duck of some kind, but I can't figure out the item on the right. I'm gonna try the soda challenge, but I can't make any promises. :) BTW, love the new pic of you guys at the top... could you not photo shop Porter's 259 hand out of it? :) Gotta love brothers...
Well, it doesn't have a square head so I am guessing it is NOT Shane... ;) I say a fire extinguisher. Aaron says duck.
Some kind of bird or animal sitting on a hay stack?
It looks to me like an ice cream cone....or a slurpee with a straw.
oh, oh, wait, I am cheating and taking a second one. A duck and some other bird/animal sharing an ice cream cone. There, final answer.
I gotta go with Jules, it looks like an old fashioned perfume bottle/sprayer to me.
